BSc(Hons) Speech and Language Therapy, MRCSLT, MHCPC
Amelia qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from Birmingham City University in 2014. She is a paediatric Speech and Language Therapist with experience working in community clinics, specialist units attached to mainstream schools and multiple special schools. Amelia worked as a Speech and Language Therapist for the NHS in West London for 6 years.
She has experience working with early years and school aged children for a range of communication difficulties including speech sound disorders, stammering, developmental language disorder and social
communication needs. She has also worked in special schools working with severe and complex learning difficulties and physical or sensory needs. In her previous role, Amelia worked alongside paediatricians in diagnostic clinics for Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Amelia’s special interest areas are working with children and young people with Autism and implementing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
She is a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapist and the Health and Care Professions Council.
